Also, if you still don't get any sound, it might be because your drum-kit is programmed to trigger a note which does not contain any sample in the software. If this is the case, you could either edit the note-values in the software so that each pad triggers the correct sound, or you could add a midi-filter which changes the input note from the drum-kit to the note that's being used by the software before it hits the instrument. A third option is to change the notes outputted in the drum-kit sound-module itself (look in the manual). If you are only using your drum-kit with your setup, I would probably go for option three as it offers a bit more standardization when sending a project-file to a friend or similar - they can still hit the factory-standard keys to trigger the drums.
