Great addition to have available if and when necessary.This is a great manual. It is a bit heavy,(weight and content), but contains outstanding information which can be used in case medical assistance is not available.I have a 2 volume set I purchased several years ago, but they are not as complete and do not contain the level of information necessary as this one manual.You might want to couple this with a good dictionary if you are not familiar with the medical terms, but overall this is a great addition to ones library.I would buy it again. So it is written in terms everyone can understand.Shortly after i sent the book to my daughter her husbamd was dianosed with colon cancer.so with the book they were able to see what tests would be done and how they would be done and also what radiaiton and chemo would be like.My other daughter has found in helpful with different kinds of illness, like ear infections, since she has her Grandson living with her it comes in handy.SO i would reccomend this book to anyone, get this book you will not be sorry.
