What others are saying Queen & Freddie Mercury: Great recording artists are called artists because they take time and emotion to write their own music. Five people Wrote Baby by Justin Bieber, Five people wrote We can't stop by Miley Cyrus, Nine people wrote Imma be by the Black Eyed Peas but one person Freddie Mercury wrote Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.

Funny pictures about Why Old Music Still Rules. Oh, and cool pics about Why Old Music Still Rules. Also, Why Old Music Still Rules photos. Freddie Mercury = Better musician than all 19 the aforementioned Sad state of music today.

Useful Links. Both are good, but In Rainbows FTB is on a another level IMO because the quality of the songs are higher, and Thom's voice was having a pretty damn good day.

Nude, in particular sounds so fucking angelic, and Reckoner and House of Cards aren't too far behind. The performances of the old songs are good too, although I would've preferred to hear Faust Arp and Jigsaw over Myxomatosis and the Gloaming since we've heard them millions of times.TKOL FtB is good, definitely made me appreciate the album more. I also enjoy the arrangement of Staircase a lot (which seems to be an unpopular opinion). Bloom sounds great. But some of the other performances are a bit sloppy.

Songs like Separator, Magpie and Lotus Flower hadn't quite found their feet yet. These songs didn't really tighten up until early-mid way through the TKOL tour. The result is a very good insight into the proto-versions of how these songs would be played live on tour, but most of the songs would be bettered in the following months after the FtB.

On the other hand, In Rainbow FtB still features some off the best versions of a number of In Rainbows tracks. So yeah, In Rainbows wins for me.
